The Equiery's Spring/Summer Interns

The Equiery’s internship program began in 2003 and introduces high school and college students to all aspects of publishing a monthly magazine, from designing ads, writing articles and photo editing, to customer service, database updates and social media and web archiving. Equiery interns have gone on to work in a variety of areas including other publications, nonprofit organizations and public relation firms. The Equiery accepts interns year-round. If you are interested in becoming an Equiery intern, please contact Katherine Rizzo at or call 1-800-244-9580 x107.

Hannah Rosenberg

Hannah is returning for her second summer internship at The Equiery after loving the hands-on experience she had working with the team last year. Connections made at The Equiery led her to two other horse-related jobs this year: promotions and sales for Cavalia and social media for the Horse World Expo.

This summer Hannah looks forward to working with her good friend and fellow intern Alexa, and camping on the weekends. This fall, Hannah will enter her final year at the University of Maryland where she studies communication.

Hannah currently owns Sadie, a six-year-old chestnut Hanoverian/Swedish Warmblood mare. While Hannah has competed in eventing through Training Level, at the moment competition is taking a back seat to finishing college. After school she hopes do some traveling and eventually enroll in graduate school.
